Zinc has numerous functions in the body and supports about 300 enzymes in the body. With the enteric-coated capsules, the zinc is only released into the small intestine, where it is also absorbed. This ensures that the zinc gluconate passes through your stomach safely and uninhibitedly. With normal capsules, the risk is high that food components or drinks, such as black tea, bind the zinc and thus prevent its absorption in the body.
