St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum), also known as Tipton’s weed, is a plant native to Europe. The name is derived from the time of blooming around St. John's Day. St. John's wort has long been used to support health, with the first records of its use even dating back to the 1st century¹. The yellow blooming plant contains many secondary plant substances (polyphenols), such as hypericin or hyperforin. The contained secondary plant compounds can promote general well-being by contributing to normal emotional balance, peace of mind and equilibrium^2,3.

Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) is a vitamin from the B-complex and hence an organic compound that the body needs for vital functions.
