Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for our body, as they are needed for many functions, but cannot be produced on its own. Especially fatty sea fish such as mackerel, herring or sardine have high levels of omega-3. But be honest: How many times a week do you eat fish? Why is the ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 so important?

Only if the right ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids is supplied through the diet can inflammatory processes in the body be properly regulated. If there is too high a concentration of omega-6 fatty acids, these fatty acids can have a pro-inflammatory effect. Therefore, it is even more important to supply the organism with valuable omega-3.

EPA and DHA

Die Einnahme zu einer Mahlzeit regt die Fettverdauung an und verbessert so die Aufnahme der Omega-3-Fettsäuren im Körper. Auf nüchternen Magen könnte die Aufnahme verringert sein, da die Fettverdauung dann weniger aktiv ist.
