Take 1 spray daily just before going to bed. Spray directly into the mouth, under the tongue.

Ingredients:

water, thickener: xylitol (25%) and xanthan gum, passion flower extract, lemon balm extract, melatonin, natural flavor: black currant, preservative: potassium sorbate.

Shake well before each use. The first time you use it, press the pump 3 times to let the liquid flow. Clean the spray head after each use. Use within 6 months of opening.

Melatonin is a hormone that is mainly produced by the brain in the pineal gland. The body makes it from serotonin, the synthesis being inhibited by light. Only when it gets dark during the night does the melatonin concentration increase up to a factor of twelve. This applies to young people, with older people the concentration often only rises up to three times. The maximum is reached around 3 a.m., after which the concentration drops again. Little melatonin circulates in the blood during the day. The liquid melatonin is ideal for people who want a pure - and liquid application. It is absorbed by the body directly through the oral mucosa into the bloodstream, which is why it can be taken shortly before going to bed and not 30-60 minutes before going to bed, as is the case with capsules. Another advantage is the bypassing of the gastrointestinal tract, which is particularly advantageous for people with absorption disorders (impaired absorption of nutrients through the intestine).
