The organism of humans and animals cannot produce lutein itself and must ingest it with food. For example, the macula of the eye contains lutein.

Was ist neben Lutein im Studentenblumen-Blüten-Extrakt enthalten?

Der Extrakt enthält neben 5 % Lutein weitere natürliche Bestandteile der Blüten wie andere Carotinoide (z. B. Zeaxanthin), Flavonoide, sekundäre Pflanzenstoffe und Pflanzenfasern. Diese Stoffe sind typisch für Blütenextrakte und ergänzen die natürlichen Eigenschaften des Produkts.
