Magnesium is the "conductor" in our muscles: It ensures the perfect interplay of tension and relaxation. When tensing the muscles - whether during sport, walking or gripping - calcium takes on the role of the "activator" and starts the movement. Magnesium, on the other hand, helps the muscles to let go again after each contraction, much like a conductor who gives the cue and then signals the muscles to relax. This prevents cramps and tension. But that's not all: magnesium is also the "regeneration aid" and helps the muscles to recover after exercise. It promotes the production of energy and breaks down lactic acid, which can lead to muscle soreness during intensive training. Without this "conductor", the muscles would find it difficult to relax and regenerate - which makes rapid recovery much more difficult.

Di-Magnesium Malat kann gefahrlos dauerhaft angewendet werden. Üblicherweise treten dabei keine Nebenwirkungen auf.
Grundsätzlich spricht nichts gegen eine Einnahme der Kapseln während der Schwangerschaft und der Stillzeit. Dennoch empfehlen wir dir, vorab Rücksprache mit deinem Arzt zu halten.
Magnesium hat eine osmotische Wirkung im Darm, das heißt, es zieht Wasser an und macht den Stuhl weicher. Dies kann eine abführende Wirkung auslösen, indem es die Darmbewegung anregt und so die Verdauung beschleunigt. Der Effekt tritt häufiger bei hohen Dosierungen, ab etwa 300–400 mg, auf. Um Nebenwirkungen zu vermeiden, ist es hilfreich, die Dosis langsam zu steigern und über den Tag zu verteilen.
Magnesium kann in der Regel ab dem Alter von 4 Jahren eingenommen werden, jedoch in altersgerechter Dosierung. Für jüngere Kinder sollte eine Ergänzung nur nach Rücksprache mit einem Arzt erfolgen.
