- Natural raw materials of the best quality: Our Astragalus Pro 500/50 capsules contain astragalosides IV, which are extracted from the root of tragacanth (also known as wolfberry). Astragaloside IV is the most biologically active component of tragacanth root and its effectiveness has been demonstrated in many studies.
- Optimum bioavailability: Each individual capsule of the product contains 500 mg of high-quality premium raw material. Astragaloside IV accounts for 50 mg of this. BioPerine® is extracted from black pepper. By adding this active ingredient, the astragalosides IV are significantly more bioavailable.

The most important ingredient classes of tragacanth root are polysaccharides, triterpene saponins – which also include astragalosides I to VIII – isoflavonoids, amino acids, fatty acids and minerals. Astragaloside IV plays the most important role as the biologically most active substance. The pharmacological effects of the ingredients have been well studied in vitro and in animal models.
The extract from the astragalus root is particularly popular with hay fever during the allergic period. Ideally, it should be taken four to six weeks before the pollen season and should be maintained during this time.
